Picture one of those little old ladies in the coffee shop who pretends to do the crossword but really just talks to everyone who walks in whether she knows them or not. You know, hungry for conversation. That’s nothing like me, but it sounds very approachable, right?
I respond personally 99% of the time. The other 1% of the time I respond as if I were someone else–usually Captain Jack Sparrow, Max from Where the Wild Things Are, or Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order: SVU.
